Supervising Your Own Kids
0 – 6 years
Flashpoint Swansea is now suitable for this age group! As of June 2025, we’ve expanded our walls and build an area with little climbers solely in mind, called “The Den”.
7 – 15 years
An adult who has registered at our centre will normally be allowed to supervise up to two children under 15 years old.
The supervising adult must take full responsibility for the safety of the participants and complete the relevant paperwork.
If you are supervising minors in Flashpoint, you must be with them and actively monitoring them at all times.
Poorly supervised children cause a significant hazard to themselves and other users. Therefore supervision of minors is at the Duty Manager’s discretion and poor supervision is not acceptable.
Alternatively, you can let us look after them for you! Check out the Kids Club Taster for more details.
14 – 15 years
We do allow experienced teenagers to register to climb unsupervised. But they must get a parent to complete an enhanced parental consent form on top of your standard registration form.
If you are 14 or 15 your parent will need to visit the centre in order to complete the forms with you.
16+ years
This age group can sign off independently after completing our induction video and forms.
