New Climbers
If you are new to bouldering then we recommend coming along to one of our Taster Sessions where one of our friendly instructors will show you how it all works.
Alternatively you can join one of the Boulder Social sessions. They are informal climbing sessions run by local climbers who are trusted boulderers and can offer friendly advice.
Or just turn up! As an adult you can pre-register to climb by watching an induction video, reading our Terms & Conditions and completing a registration form. Make sure to pay attention as the team will ask you a few questions before they let you pay to climb.
Once that is completed you can go and climb, if you have any further questions the team will always be happy to help out.
No matter what your experience, you will be asked to watch a short video induction, read our conditions of use and fill out a registration form. The staff will ask you a couple of questions to ensure you have understood the induction and then you will be free to use the centre.
PRE-REGISTER HERE or do it on one of our tablets at the gym.
If you are looking for kids indoor activities & classes check out the kids page here. If you are looking to supervise your own children then read on (and pre-register here).
0 – 6 years
Flashpoint Swansea is not suitable for this age group. BUT we have a Crazy Climb centre in out building which is suitable for those 5 years and above!
7 – 15 years
An adult who has registered at our centre will normally be allowed to supervise two children, so long as both are over 7 years of age.
The supervising adult must take full responsibility for the safety of the participants and complete the relevant paperwork.
14 – 15 years
We do allow experienced teenagers to register to climb unsupervised, but they must get a parent to complete an enhanced parental consent form on top of their standard registration form.
If you are 14 or 15 your parent will need to visit the centre in order to complete the forms with you.
